The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province has produced the ‘2025 Life Cycle Customized Guide for Suwon Citizens (Susinjega)’ to introduce support policies tailored to each life stage.
The guide is organized into six life stages: pregnancy and childbirth, infants and children, children and adolescents, youth and middle-aged adults, seniors, and migrants, allowing citizens to easily check the support policies they can utilize at a glance.
The guide introduces a total of 113 support projects, including ▲prenatal health management support ▲public meals for infants using eco-friendly and excellent agricultural products ▲10 a.m. start time for elementary school newcomers at small and medium-sized workplaces ▲youth interview suit rental for job preparation (Cheongnarae) ▲senior job and social activity support ▲childcare support for foreign children, among others.

In particular, projects newly implemented this year and those with expanded support compared to last year are clearly marked for easy understanding.
The guide can be viewed on the Suwon City e-book promotional library website (http://news.suwon.go.kr/ebook). It will also be available at City Hall, district offices, community service centers, public health center civil service offices, and local women’s hospitals (obstetrics and gynecology clinics).
A Suwon city official said, "Suwon City is preparing various policies to ensure that all citizens can receive stable support throughout their lives," adding, "We hope citizens check the benefits they need in the guide and actively utilize them."
Meanwhile, the guide’s name ‘Susinjega’ is derived from the first letters of ‘A Reliable and Proper Family Support Guide for Suwon Citizens.’ It carries the meaning of supporting the personal growth (修身) of each citizen and the stability of their families (齊家).
