Three Students Selected, Including Kim Jubin
Chonnam National University (President Lee Geunbae) announced on the 28th that it held the 'MetLife Korea Foundation Future Scholarship Award Ceremony'.
At the ceremony held on the 27th in the OCR Conference Room of the Chonnam National University Library Annex, a total of three students, including Kim Jubin from the Department of Special Education at the College of Education, were selected to receive an annual living expense scholarship of 4 million KRW. The ceremony was attended by representatives from MetLife Korea, scholarship recipients, Dean of Student Affairs Jung Nanhee, and Head of Student Affairs Gwak Daeho.
Lee Sujin, Head of Southern Division 4 at MetLife Korea, said, "I hope the Future Scholarship will serve as a stepping stone for students to realize their dreams," adding, "We will continue to support and expand educational opportunities in various ways."
Dean of Student Affairs Jung Nanhee said, "I deeply appreciate the MetLife Korea Foundation for providing the Future Scholarship, which offers practical support to our students," and added, "The university will do its best to help students grow into warm-hearted talents with both academic excellence and character."
