Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that on the 31st at 2 PM, it will conduct a pilot operation of Seoul's first mobile garden culture center, the 'Run Garden Bus,' at Dangsan Neighborhood Park.

The 'Run Garden Bus' is a mobile garden culture center that visits various local areas to provide diverse garden experiences for residents who find it difficult to visit a garden culture center. It aims to offer residents opportunities to experience garden culture close to their daily lives and to connect with nature.

The district will pilot the 'Run Garden Bus' from 2 PM to 5 PM on the 31st at Dangsan Neighborhood Park. Various experiences such as ▲pet plant clinic ▲repotting plants ▲making your own pot (Begonia, Azalea) will be available.

During the event, garden experts will be present to teach proper plant planting methods and care tips, allowing participants to interact directly with plants and enjoy the pleasure of gardening.

The 'Run Garden Bus' will begin full-scale operations starting in April. It will visit schools, welfare centers, companies, and other locations to offer one-day lectures, everyday horticulture, seasonal plant care education, and pet plant clinics. A large pot repotting service will also be provided.

Additionally, in April, the third branch of the 'Garden Culture Center' is scheduled to open. It will operate one-day lectures at various times, serving as a healing space in residents' daily lives and a hub for spreading garden culture.

Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, stated, “Through the 'Run Garden Bus,' the first of its kind introduced in Seoul, we hope residents will experience the rest and healing that gardens provide.” He added, “We will continue to operate various programs to spread garden culture and enhance the status of 'Garden City Yeongdeungpo.'”
