The Gyeongbuk Provincial Council (Chairman Park Seongman) delivered emergency relief supplies worth approximately 10 million KRW to five areas affected by wildfires?Uiseong, Andong, Cheongsong, Yeongyang, and Yeongdeok?through the Community Chest of Korea on the 27th.
This delivery of emergency relief supplies was carried out following the decision made at an emergency joint meeting of the chairperson, standing committee chairs, and vice chairs held at the provincial council at 10 a.m. on the 26th.

Chairman Park Seongman strongly requested prompt support for disaster relief funds from the Council of Chairpersons of Provincial Councils of the Republic of Korea, which has not yet provided assistance, aiming to secure the 10 million KRW disaster relief fund as quickly as possible to help stabilize the livelihoods of residents in the affected areas.
In addition to this emergency support, the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council plans to prepare further support measures for the swift recovery from wildfire damage and actively secure related budgets.
Chairman Park Seongman visited Cheongsong-gun and Yeongyang-gun the previous day, and on this day, visited Yeongdeok-gun to encourage wildfire response personnel and inspect shelters for displaced residents.
