Park Cheolhong, Chairman of Goldclass, Donates 50 Million Won Scholarship to Gwangju University

The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea announced on the 27th that Park Cheolhong, Chairman of Goldclass Co., Ltd., has donated a scholarship fund of 50 million KRW to Gwangju University.

The donation ceremony, held at the Goldclass headquarters, was attended by Chairman Park, Park Heungcheol, Director of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, Kim Dongjin, President of Gwangju University, Kim Kyungtae, Director of External Cooperation at Gwangju University, Song Changyoung, Professor at Gwangju University, and Kim Donggi, Representative of the Honor Society members. The scholarship fund delivered on this day will be used as a living stability fund, including support for living expenses and scholarships for low-income students.

Chairman Park said, "I am delighted and honored to be able to provide even a small help to low-income students at Gwangju University. I will continue to engage in various donation activities to contribute to the development of the local community and to improve the quality of life for our neighbors."

President Kim said, "I sincerely appreciate the generous support from Goldclass. The scholarship fund will help provide a better academic environment for our students and give them the opportunity to focus on their studies."
