Pet Snacks, Processed Meat Products, and Hot Spring Vouchers

Damyang County in Jeonnam has selected additional suppliers for the Hometown Love Donation Program return gifts.
According to the county on the 27th, at the 2025 1st Return Gift Selection Committee held the previous day, six new items from six suppliers were newly chosen as return gifts for the Hometown Love Donation Program.
The items selected through this review include: ▲Cherry tomatoes ▲Hangwa (traditional Korean sweets) ▲Vinegar ▲Processed meat products ▲Pet snacks (pet food) ▲Hot spring vouchers.
Along with the selection of new return gifts, the county plans to actively promote events that can attract donors’ attention, such as increasing quantities, offering bonuses, and creating special packages through cooperation with suppliers. The county will also continue to manage and supervise existing suppliers.
A county official said, “As the Hometown Love Donation Program becomes more established, the importance of return gifts will continue to grow,” and added, “We will keep working to discover a diverse and unique range of return gifts.”
Meanwhile, the Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate up to 20 million won per year to local governments (both metropolitan and basic) outside their place of residence. Donations are fully tax-deductible up to 100,000 won, with a 16.5% tax credit for amounts exceeding that, and return gifts are provided within 30% of the donation amount.
