Support for Viral Marketing and Event Banner Design
Muju County in North Jeolla Province is launching a promotional project for Firefly agricultural and specialty products in the first half of the year.
According to the county on the 27th, this project aims to boost sales of Firefly agricultural and specialty products by targeting local organizations, companies, and farms that have entered open markets (such as Gmarket, 11st, Auction, and other e-commerce platforms).
There are 18 organizations, companies, and farms participating in open markets, including the Jeoksang-myeon Peach Research Association and the Summer Durup Crop Group. The county will invest approximately 48 million KRW in the project to support overall marketing, including ▲creating detailed pages in open markets, ▲20% discount coupons, ▲viral marketing, ▲event banner design, and ▲special exhibition support. In addition, they plan to assist farm management and focus on promoting Muju Firefly agricultural and specialty products by supporting ▲delivery fees and ▲packaging material purchase costs.
An official from the Muju County Agricultural Technology Center said, "As the online shopping market expands, we are diversifying sales channels to raise brand awareness and farm income for Muju Firefly agricultural and specialty products," adding, "We will do our best to operate the promotional project in line with the harvest season so that it can provide practical help to farms and bring positive results."
The county aims to increase sales by more than 10% (over 5.3 billion KRW) this year through diversification of sales channels, including operating online and offline sales outlets for agricultural and specialty products. In addition to open market promotions, direct transaction support (delivery) projects, agricultural and specialty product exhibition and sales events, and operation of a cyber shopping mall are expected to support this goal.
