Full-Scale Launch of Northern Region Specialized Job Projects to Expand Youth Job Experience
Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) held a meeting of the ‘Northern Region Specialized Job Council’ on the 27th at the Foundation’s Northern Business Headquarters located in Uijeongbu to discuss the direction of the 2025 project and cooperation plans among the public, private, industry, and academia sectors.

During the meeting, various opinions were gathered to revitalize job projects in the northern Gyeonggi region, and the progress and improvements of new projects were shared. In particular, strengthening the cooperation system among the public, private, industry, and academia sectors within the region and enhancing responsiveness to the rapidly changing job market were the main topics of discussion.
A total of 16 officials attended the meeting, including representatives from the Gyeonggi-do Job and Economic Policy Division, Gyeonggi Northern Office of Education, Gyeonggi Northern Chamber of Commerce, Gyeonggi Daejin Technopark, Uijeongbu and Yangju Chambers of Commerce, Kyungbok University, Kyungmin University, Uijeongbu Technical High School, and Kyungmin Business High School, presenting tailored job policy directions for the northern region.
Starting this year, through the ‘Northern Region Specialized Job Matching Package Project’ which is being fully implemented, the Foundation plans to provide customized job experience opportunities linked with companies in the northern Gyeonggi region for unemployed youth who are graduating from specialized high schools and junior colleges. In addition to council operations, various detailed projects such as internship programs, production of excellent small and medium-sized enterprise content, and job fairs will be promoted together.
Companies wishing to participate in the project can apply through the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation’s integrated application system ‘Jobaba Apply’ by April 11.
