POSCO Steelion is partnering with the College of Design at Konkuk University to develop next-generation color steel sheet designs targeting the Indian home appliance market.
On the 26th, POSCO Steelion announced that it had signed an industry-academic cooperation MOU with the College of Design at Konkuk University at the POSCO Center for the joint development of designs for its color steel sheet brand, 'INFINeLI.'

Through this agreement, the two institutions plan to analyze the latest design trends and C.M.F (Color, Material, Finish) in the global home appliance market with university students and develop new color steel sheet designs that reflect the characteristics of the Indian market.
In particular, they will closely analyze the colors, materials, and finishes preferred by Indian consumers to present designs optimized for the local market.
In addition to design development collaboration, POSCO Steelion plans to actively nurture future design talent by providing Konkuk University students with opportunities to gain practical experience through field training and internships.
Through this, students are expected to develop the competencies needed in actual industrial settings, while POSCO Steelion will be able to secure outstanding design talent.
POSCO Steelion plans to foster INFINeLI as a core brand for targeting the Indian home appliance market, based on the new designs developed through this industry-academic cooperation.
INFINeLI is POSCO Steelion's premium color steel sheet brand, boasting excellent design and quality. Through INFINeLI, the company plans to introduce differentiated products in the Indian home appliance market and expand its market share.
