Under the clear sky, the wind remains cool at its edge. On the 28th, Gwangju and Jeonnam will see mostly cloudy skies in the morning, gradually clearing up in the afternoon, with temperatures returning to seasonal averages.
According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, the region will come under the influence of a high-pressure system moving southeast from northern China, after moving away from the effects of a low-pressure system.
Morning lows are expected to be 3°C in Naju, Hwasun, Jangseong, Damyang, Gokseong, Yeongam, Boseong, and Hampyeong; 4°C in Yeonggwang, Muan, and Gurye; 5°C in Gwangju, Mokpo, Haenam, Jindo, Gangjin, Jangheung, Wando, and Suncheon; 6°C in Shinan and Goheung; and 7°C in Gwangyang and Yeosu.
Daytime highs will be 14°C in Gurye, Gwangyang, and Suncheon; 13°C in Goheung and Yeosu; 12°C in Gokseong, Hwasun, Jangheung, and Wando; 11°C in Gwangju, Jangseong, Damyang, Naju, Yeongam, Haenam, and Naju; 10°C in Hampyeong; and 9°C in Yeonggwang, Shinan, Muan, Mokpo, and Jindo, which is lower than the previous day.
Waves in the West Sea are expected to be 1.5 to 3.5 meters high, and 1 to 2 meters in the South Sea. Fine and ultrafine dust levels are forecast to be 'bad' until the morning, improving to 'moderate' in the afternoon.
An official from the Gwangju Meteorological Administration said, "After the rain, cold air from the north will move southward, causing strong winds and a drop in temperature, making it chilly. Please pay attention to your health in response to these temperature changes."
