Hongseong County Begins Full-Scale Promotion of Namdang Port Nightscape Attraction Project

A Surreal Night Show Blending Light and Music

Marine Fountain Park at Namdang Port in Hongseong to be Developed as a Nightscape Attraction

Hongseong County, Chungnam Province, announced that it will officially begin the Nightscape Project at the Namdanghang Marine Fountain Park.

The county is pushing ahead with the Namdanghang Marine Fountain Park Nightscape Project, aiming to maximize the potential of Namdanghang as a renowned night view destination and solidify its image as the top tourist spot. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of June.

Driven by the strong commitment of County Governor Lee Yongrok, the county is accelerating the development of innovative nighttime content to overcome the limitations of the existing tourism industry and extend visitors' stay.

Going beyond simple lighting displays, the county plans to present a surreal night show that blends light and music under the unique theme of "Colorful Wave."

"Colorful Wave" features vibrant lights gracefully dancing like ocean waves, delivering a powerful impression in harmony with majestic music.

The county intends to link the Nightscape Project with the "Hongseong Sky Tower," a landmark on the west coast, to establish the area as the largest nighttime attraction on the west coast.

Lee Yongrok, Governor of Hongseong County, stated, "Once the Namdanghang Marine Fountain Park Nightscape Project is completed at the end of June, it will be integrated with various local festivals and events, transforming Hongseong County into the top nightscape tourist destination on the west coast and firmly establishing its status as a leading tourist destination in Korea."
