Gyeonggi Yangju Urban Corporation (President Lee Heung-gyu) held a press conference on the 27th at the meeting room of Yangju City Culture and Arts Center, inviting local journalists.

This conference was organized to explain the corporation's major business status and mid- to long-term plans, and to provide more transparent information to citizens through open communication with the media.


Held with the attendance of numerous local journalists, the conference covered △ introduction of the corporation's history and organizational structure △ sharing of mid- to long-term management goals and phased strategic roadmaps △ briefing on local public enterprise management evaluation results and award achievements. Participants freely exchanged opinions on the corporation's direction and contribution to the region.


A particularly notable part of the day was the explanation of the corporation's key issues. Yangju Urban Corporation provided detailed explanations on ongoing development projects, measures to enhance management efficiency, and the issue of relocating and constructing the recycling sorting center, which is a matter of local interest. Through this, efforts to reduce the understanding gap with the local community and to secure trust in projects that have a practical impact on citizens' lives were evident.


President Lee Heung-gyu stated, “Cooperation with local media is an important process to strengthen communication with citizens,” adding, “We will continue to establish regular communication opportunities to further strengthen cooperation with the local community.”


Starting with this conference, Yangju Urban Corporation plans to continuously expand its communication structure with various stakeholders in the region. The corporation is focusing on improving citizen-centered urban infrastructure and strengthening publicness as core tasks, while simultaneously promoting management transparency and securing public trust.
