Asan City in Chungnam announced on the 27th that it has signed an agreement with local universities to promote the Regional Innovation System for Education (RISE) support framework.
The city entered into the agreement the previous day with Sunmoon University, Soonchunhyang University, U1 University, and Hoseo University, and plans to establish a cooperative system for the Chungnam RISE initiative.
This project is a public contest that supports the establishment of cooperative relationships between the local community and universities so that they can grow together.
Jo Ilgyo, Acting Mayor of Asan, said, "I hope this agreement will serve as a cornerstone for being selected in the contest," and added, "Our city will do its best to support the joint resolution of local issues and the settlement of outstanding talent."
Meanwhile, Chungnam Province will accept contest applications until the end of this month and plans to announce the results sometime next month.
