Huons Group Donates 300 Million KRW for Wildfire Damage Recovery in Gyeongsang Province

Donation of Relief Funds to the Community Chest of Korea (Fruit of Love)

Huons Group has stepped forward to comfort residents of regions such as Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk who suffered damage from large-scale wildfires.

On the 27th, Huons Group announced that it has decided to donate 300 million KRW to support wildfire damage recovery and aid for disaster victims in wildfire-designated special disaster areas including Sancheong-gun and Hadong-gun in Gyeongnam, Uiseong-gun in Gyeongbuk, and Ulju-gun in Ulsan.

Huons Group’s family companies, including the holding company Huons Global, Huons, Humedix, Huons Biopharma, Huons Meditech, HuM&C, Huons Foodience, Huons Life Sciences, PanGen, Food Assemble, and Huons Lab, have all contributed their sincere support to help wildfire victims. They will donate 300 million KRW in cash to the Community Chest of Korea (Fruit of Love).

The relief funds will be used in various ways, such as emergency housing restoration and living expense support for residents who lost their homes due to the sudden fire disaster. A Huons Group representative said, "We decided to donate funds with the hope of providing a small help to those affected by the sudden wildfire," adding, "We hope the damage will be restored quickly and daily life can be recovered soon."

Meanwhile, Huons Group previously donated 200 million KRW in 2022 to support wildfire-affected areas in Gangwon Province. Going forward, as a comprehensive healthcare company with a mission to promote public health and wellness, Huons Group plans to continue actively supporting local communities and places in need to fulfill its social responsibilities.
