Jeonnam Office of Education Holds 'Na Ddae Han Jang' Photo Contest

Recording Local Education and Historical Materials

The Jeonnam Office of Education announced on the 27th the launch of a photo contest titled 'Na Ddae Han Jang', which aims to capture precious memories of schools and educational activities in the Jeonnam region.


This contest has been organized to record historic moments in Jeonnam education and the daily lives of students over the years, as well as to collect historical materials that the educational community can empathize with together.

The contest is open to photos of schools and educational activities in Jeonnam taken up to 2010. Anyone can submit images that clearly show school scenery, student activities, or students’ daily lives. Submissions can be made through the 'Jeonnam Education Portal' website, by email, or by mail, but only photos owned by the applicant are eligible.


The Office of Education will select up to five works each month, awarding 100,000 KRW to each selected entry. The chosen photos will be featured in the Jeonnam education newsletter, 'Dreaming of the Future Together'. The photo contest will begin on the 27th.


Lee Hyungrae, Public Relations Officer, stated, "Even as time passes, memories from our school days remain precious in our hearts," and added, "We hope this contest will serve as a medium for Jeonnam education families to share their memories and foster empathy and dialogue across generations."
