This move aims to avoid repeating the confusion that arose during the process of expanding the designated land transaction permission zones 35 days after their解除 last month.

On the 27th, Seoul City issued a statement under the spokesperson's name, announcing, "The existing organization will be expanded and restructured into a dedicated team that analyzes real estate policies and market trends."

The city explained, "The dedicated team will play a key role in conducting in-depth analyses of the real estate market and macroeconomic indicators, supporting decisions related to the city's real estate policy implementation."

Seoul City stated, "We are currently formulating improvement measures focused on strengthening the pre-verification system when implementing real estate policies that can significantly impact citizens' lives and the economy, as well as enhancing the expertise of related organizations." Detailed improvement measures will be announced later.

Seoul City acknowledged that personnel responsible for housing projects have been primarily focused on housing supply, which has led to shortcomings in monitoring demand and market reactions, and announced plans to invite real estate experts.

The city explained, "The expanded and restructured dedicated team will include housing market experts capable of comprehensively analyzing and forecasting the real estate market, including macroeconomic variables such as taxation and financial markets, to enhance organizational effectiveness."

There are also plans to expand communication and personnel exchanges with government ministries. The city said, "To enable smooth communication with relevant institutions, including the central government, during the decision-making and implementation of housing policies, we will activate personnel exchanges between institutions and establish a close information-sharing system."

Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon stated, "Going forward, when promoting major real estate policies, including land transaction permission zones, we will systematically analyze housing market and macroeconomic trends to make accurate judgments and predictions, thereby protecting citizens' economy and daily lives more precisely."
