Stars have consecutively donated to aid the recovery from large-scale wildfires that occurred across the country, including Yeongnam.
On the 27th, donations from stars continued to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association and the Korean Red Cross. The group IVE donated 200 million KRW to Hope Bridge, actor Byeon Woo-seok donated 100 million KRW, and actors Kim Sung-cheol and Kim Se-jeong each donated 20 million KRW.
The six members of IVE each donated 100 million KRW, totaling 200 million KRW, to support wildfire damage relief and to improve the treatment and awareness of firefighters dedicated at disaster sites. IVE stated, "We wanted to express our gratitude to the firefighters who are working hard to extinguish the fires, and also hoped to help those who are suffering from the sudden wildfires even just a little. We hope this will encourage many people to recover their daily lives."

Byeon Woo-seok said, "I hope this small contribution can help those going through difficult and challenging times due to the wildfire damage," and added, "I sincerely thank everyone who is tirelessly dedicating themselves to wildfire suppression." He further expressed, "I sincerely hope the wildfire will be extinguished soon so that everyone can quickly return to their daily lives."
Kim Sung-cheol’s agency stated, "Upon hearing the news of the wildfire damage spreading, Kim Sung-cheol decided to participate in the donation with the hope of helping the affected residents even a little." They added, "Especially since he had visited the affected areas several times while filming works set in those regions, this news felt even heavier." They concluded, "We sincerely hope everyone can return to peaceful daily lives as soon as possible."
Kim Se-jeong said, "I hope this can be a little strength to those suffering from wildfire damage and that they can return to safe daily lives soon," and expressed deep gratitude to the firefighters and officials dedicating themselves on site. Starting with donations for COVID-19 response, Kim Se-jeong has practiced sincere sharing by supporting neighbors affected by disasters such as wildfires and floods every year. With this donation, Kim Se-jeong was appointed as a member of the ‘Hope Bridge Honors Club,’ a network of high-value individual donors.
At the Korean Red Cross, singer Taeyeon donated 100 million KRW, and actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-a each donated 50 million KRW. Taeyeon said, "It pains me to see the damage growing as the wildfire spreads nationwide," and added, "I hope this can be some strength to the evacuees, firefighters, and relief workers going through difficult times." Taeyeon has led sharing efforts, including joining the Korean Red Cross’s high-value donor group ‘Red Cross Honors Club’ by donating 100 million KRW in 2019 to support hygiene products for vulnerable female students.
Kim Woo-bin said, "I hope this can bring some comfort to the residents affected by the wildfire," and expressed gratitude to the firefighters working hard to extinguish the fires and the volunteers and officials helping the evacuees.
Kim Woo-bin began donating anonymously in 2014 to help low-income youth and has continuously shared for 11 years supporting pediatric cancer patients and marginalized groups. Notably, his cumulative donations have exceeded 1.1 billion KRW, and he has naturally joined donation efforts whenever social disasters such as COVID-19, wildfires, and floods occur, extending a helping hand.
Shin Min-a said, "I hope this can be a small comfort to those affected by the wildfire," and wished for the safety of all firefighters, relief workers, and volunteers working hard on site.
