To this end, it plans to strengthen the public-private employment network in cooperation with the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled Northern Gyeonggi Branch and expand jobs in both the public and private sectors. Specifically, 135 people with disabilities will be newly selected, and a total budget of 2.061 billion KRW will be invested to support sustainable employment for people with disabilities. In addition, the city will simultaneously expand vocational rehabilitation facilities and improve working environments to help people with disabilities maintain stable economic activities.

First, by expanding the operation of disability call taxis and daily mobility support, the city will improve transportation accessibility. It will also prepare shelters and leisure programs for elderly people with disabilities and provide various customized services within the Disability Welfare Center. Furthermore, by strengthening medical expense and assistive device support, the city aims to alleviate the economic burden on people with disabilities and improve their quality of life. To guarantee the right to learn for people with developmental disabilities, a lifelong education support center will be operated, and customized education programs for adults will be promoted together.
