Support for Recovery from Wildfires
in Sancheong, Gyeongnam and Uiseong, Gyeongbuk
Samjong KPMG announced on the 27th that it donated 100 million KRW to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to support recovery efforts and aid for disaster victims in the special disaster areas designated in Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan regions.
The donation will be used to provide daily necessities to residents in the affected areas, operate shelters, and support housing stabilization. It will also be used for emergency relief activities such as urgent medical services.
Kim Kyotae, Chairman of Samjong KPMG, said, "I extend my deepest condolences to the residents suffering from the wildfire damage and pray for the safety of everyone involved in the relief efforts. I hope the local residents can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
Since 2005, Samjong KPMG has operated an in-house social welfare committee and carried out social contribution activities in various fields such as social welfare, education, environment, and culture. In 2022, it supported recovery efforts for disasters such as the wildfires in Samcheok, Gangwon, and Uljin, Gyeongbuk.
