To be implemented in about 20,000 Doosan Engineering & Construction apartments
Samsung C&T Corporation's construction division's home platform, Homnic, will also be available in Doosan Engineering & Construction's apartments, We’ve and We’ve The Zenith.
On the 27th, Samsung C&T and Doosan Engineering & Construction announced that they have signed a strategic partnership to provide smart residential services. The signing ceremony held at Doosan Building in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, was attended by about 20 people including Park Min-yong, Head of Development Business Division at Samsung C&T, and Kim Hong-jae, Head of Architecture Business Division at Doosan Engineering & Construction, to share details about the strategic products of both companies.
Through this agreement, Samsung C&T plans to apply Homnic to about 20,000 households under Doosan Engineering & Construction’s apartment brands We’ve and We’ve The Zenith, starting with 'Namyangju Doosan We’ve The Zenith Pyeongnae Hopyeong Station N49.' They plan to continuously create synergy through various smart residential service technology collaborations.
Homnic aims to be an all-in-one platform that integrates various residential lifestyle services such as digital smart home services, Homnic tools, and apartment care. Residents can use Homnic not only inside their homes but also for community and convenience services within the complex.
Homnic launched its dedicated app in August 2023 and was first introduced in Raemian One Bailey. It is currently used in about 50,000 households in premium apartment complexes around Banpo, including Acro River Park. Homnic’s energy management function helps efficient energy management by monitoring not only individual household energy usage but also the total energy consumption and renewable energy generation of the entire complex.
Park Min-yong, Head of Development Business Division at Samsung C&T, said, "Based on this agreement, we plan to continuously expand the introduction of Homnic to other brand apartments," adding, "We will enhance services by applying various functions such as Homnicus Club and apartment care to each complex."
A representative from Doosan Engineering & Construction said, "Through this agreement, we will provide residents with a more comfortable space," and added, "We will continue to strengthen cooperation with Samsung C&T to provide smart residential services."
