The Ulju-gun Mental Health Welfare Center in Ulsan is operating a disaster psychological support project called "Visiting Psychological Counseling, Mind Relief Bus" in the Onyang-eup and Eonyang-eup areas of Ulju-gun, which were recently affected by wildfires.
The Mind Relief Bus is being operated to directly visit sites damaged by wildfires and provide customized psychological counseling services to local residents and disaster response personnel.
The disaster psychological support booth will offer on-site psychological counseling, provide psychological support kits, distribute booklets, and give information on prevention and coping methods during disaster situations. In addition, high-risk groups for mental health will be screened and evaluated, and ongoing counseling and necessary services will be provided based on the results.
For inquiries and requests regarding disaster psychological support, please contact the center via its website or by phone.
An official from the Ulju-gun Public Health Center stated, "We will actively support the psychological stability of residents who have experienced disasters and personnel who have worked on disaster response so that they can quickly return to their daily lives."
