The recruitment targets are three Dahamkke Care Centers located in Chorongkkot Village Complex 4, Byeolharam Village Complex 5, and Mulyanggi Village Complex 7. The city plans to select consignment agencies with expertise and experience to establish a stable community-centered care system.

The Dahamkke Care Center is a facility that provides after-school and vacation care services for elementary school students in need of care, such as children from dual-income families, and is supported by local government operations.

Eligibility for applying as a consignment agency includes social welfare corporations, non-profit corporations, social cooperatives, and non-profit private organizations. The city will select the consignment agency through a first-round document screening and a second-round face-to-face interview.

The selected agency will be responsible for the overall operation of the care center and will receive administrative and financial support from the city to ensure smooth operation. The selected corporation (organization) will be entrusted with the operation for the next five years. Agencies or organizations wishing to operate the center on consignment can visit the Child Welfare Team during the recruitment period to apply.

Kim Jin-ah, Director of the Childcare and Child Division, stated, “The Dahamkke Care Center plays an important role in addressing the care gaps for dual-income families and within the community,” and added, “We expect many institutions with expertise in child care and operational capabilities to show great interest and actively participate.”
