Hanwha Semitek Showcases Technology at Medical Device Exhibition, Demonstrates 'This Level'

From Implant Roots to Teeth: Machines for Complete Dental Solutions
Medical Component Machine Tools Requiring High Stability
Hanwha Semitech: "We Will Compete with Quality and Technology"

Hanwha Semitech made its appearance at the International Dental Equipment Exhibition. It showcased machining technology capable of producing artificial tooth roots and teeth in the medical device market, which demands high stability and quality.

Hanwha Semitech announced on the 27th that it participated in the world's largest international dental medical device exhibition, 'IDS (International Dental Show) 2025,' held in Cologne, Germany from the 25th to the 29th (local time). The IDS exhibition is held every two years, and this year, over 2,000 companies from 60 countries participated.

Hanwha Semitech exhibited the automatic lathe 'XM20,' capable of producing artificial tooth roots, and 'H-Denfit,' capable of producing artificial teeth. It is evaluated as having completed the 'implant full lineup,' which can manufacture both the upper and lower structures that serve as the root and tooth in implant structures.

In particular, H-Denfit features a compact size with a streamlined design and applies a touch panel operation method to enable easy production of implant teeth.

The market expects that as such dental milling machines (machines that carve dental prosthetics) become popularized, the burden of implant costs on consumers will be significantly reduced.

Parts produced by medical parts machining equipment must meet high quality and safety standards, such as smooth surface treatment and long tool life, since they come into direct contact with the human body. The high dependence on Japanese equipment, which excels in precision machining technology, has consistently highlighted the need for localization.

A Hanwha Semitech official stated, "Hanwha Semitech's machine tools already enjoy high trust in terms of precision and quality," adding, "We will solidify our position in the dental medical device market based on our technological capabilities."
