Fiery Lee Jae-myung Theme Stocks... Orient Jeonggong Hits New High [Featured Stocks]

Orient Junggong hit a 52-week high. It has been strong for two consecutive days after hitting the daily limit price the day before as a theme stock of Lee Jae-myung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea.

As of 9:07 a.m. on the 27th, Orient Junggong is trading at 11,610 won, up 26.33% (2,420 won) from the previous day. During the session, it soared to 11,790 won, setting a new 52-week high.

Orient Junggong, an auto parts company, along with Orient Bio, is considered a representative 'Lee Jae-myung theme stock.' This is because Lee previously worked at the affiliate 'Orient Watch' during his youth.

On the previous day, when the appellate court ruling on Lee's violation of the Public Official Election Act was announced, related theme stocks including Orient Junggong, Orient Bio, Dongshin Construction, Estaco, and ATEC all hit the daily limit price. With Lee being acquitted, theme stocks such as ATEC and Ilseong Construction, which saw buying momentum, also showed strong gains of around 14% that day.
