Paju City Appoints Kim Bomi, KBS Talent Theater President, as Daily Honorary Mayor

Gyeonggi Paju City announced on the 27th that Kim Bomi, KBS Talenteuk Theater Chairman, was appointed as the 40th One-Day Honorary Mayor.

On the 26th, One-Day Honorary Mayor Kim Bomi received the appointment certificate from Paju Mayor Kim Kyung-il, then visited the Paju Cultural Foundation to receive reports on the cultural and artistic policies promoted by Paju City and the major initiatives for 2025.

In the afternoon schedule, she toured various programs and convenience facilities at Paju Jangdan Bean Wellbeing Maru, and visited the National Theater Stage Arts Support Center to view exhibition and performance facilities.

Finally, she moved to the Traditional Architecture Repair Technology Promotion Foundation, received an introduction to the foundation, and concluded the schedule by touring exhibits including a reproduction of part of the upper pavilion of Sungnyemun.

One-Day Honorary Mayor Kim Bomi said, “It was a meaningful time to closely examine the cultural and artistic policies of the Paju area and experience them up close,” adding, “Based on the experiences I saw and felt today, I will take an interest in Paju city administration and listen carefully to help the cultural and artistic fields develop further.”
