According to the '2025 Public Officials' Regular Asset Change Report' disclosed by the Government Official Ethics Committee on the 27th, Minister Kim owns real estate valued at 1,813,000,000 KRW, including apartments in Irwon-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, and a jeonse right on an apartment in Bangok-dong, Wonju, Gangwon Province. He also reported deposits of 788,130,000 KRW and securities worth 14,830,000 KRW under his name, his spouse's, and his children's.
Lee Byung-hwa, Vice Minister of Environment, was found to hold assets worth 3,493,470,000 KRW, an increase of 153,310,000 KRW from the previous year. Most of his assets consist of real estate valued at 2,664,820,000 KRW located in Sejong and Seoul.
Sohn Ok-ju, Director of Planning and Coordination at the Ministry of Environment, reported assets worth 3,774,020,000 KRW, and Park Jae-hyun, former Director of Water Management Policy at the Ministry of Environment, reported assets worth 983,950,000 KRW.
Lee Sam-gyu, Standing Auditor of Korea Water Resources Corporation, reported the highest assets among environmental officials, totaling 4,054,550,000 KRW. He owns a building under his name in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, valued at 1,915,000,000 KRW, and deposits under his and his spouse's names amounting to 1,838,470,000 KRW.
