Andong City in Gyeongbuk sent a disaster alert text message on the 26th, instructing residents around Hahoe Village and Byeongsan Seowon to evacuate.
At around 8:20 PM that day, Andong City reported that the wildfire in Ingeum-ri was spreading and advised residents of Ingeum 1·2-ri, Eodam-ri, Geumgye-ri, Hahoe 1·2-ri, and Byeongsan-ri to evacuate to Jeourim Village in Gwangdeok-ri.
An official from Andong City stated, "Since the drone detected a temperature of about 40 degrees Celsius at a point 4 km away from Byeongsan Seowon, we recommended residents to evacuate for now."
