LG CNS Introduces 'AI Solver' Using MS Cloud to Korean Manufacturing Companies

LG CNS announced that it has introduced the 'AI Solver' program, developed using Microsoft (MS) Azure Cloud, to Korean manufacturing companies. Based on generative artificial intelligence (AI), this service allows employees to ask questions or report issues in a chat window during work, and the generative AI provides optimal answers by comprehensively analyzing product design guidelines and past cases of design issue resolutions. An LG CNS representative stated, "It is a kind of ‘AI Solver’ that contains not only hundreds or thousands of pages of manuals but also the know-how of veteran employees."

On the 26th, LG CNS participated in the 'MS AI Tour in Seoul' held at the Yangjae aT Center, showcasing innovative cases using generative AI in industries such as manufacturing and finance. MS is currently conducting a tour sharing AI innovation cases across 60 cities worldwide.

LG CNS also introduced a consulting program utilizing ‘MS 365 (hereafter M365) Copilot,’ which is being promoted based on collaboration with MS. Through this program, customers can gain insights to revolutionize productivity by applying M365 Copilot to their work and plan AI services.

To assist customers who face difficulties in implementing planned services, LG CNS provides customized support from data utilization to service construction. At the exhibition booth, visitors could directly experience various AI services based on M365 Copilot, including schedule management, meeting minutes preparation, proposal and market analysis report writing, as well as manual and employee training material creation.

LG CNS also established a separate organization called the ‘MS Launch Center’ to further accelerate business cooperation with MS. This organization consists of architects specialized in Microsoft Azure Cloud, AI, and app modernization experts. Companies can receive customized AI and cloud services provided by Microsoft through the ‘MS Launch Center.’

Additionally, LG CNS operates the ‘Innovation Journey Workshop’ program in collaboration with Microsoft, supporting companies considering the adoption of generative AI to create actual prototypes and pre-verify the effects of implementation.

LG CNS continues its business cooperation with MS in generative AI and cloud services. Kim Tae-hoon, head of LG CNS AI Cloud Business Division, said, “Based on close cooperation with MS, we will continue to discover and secure new technologies and services that innovate customer value and lead the market as an AX-specialized company that provides AI technologies customers need the fastest.”
