Helicopter Leased from Gangwon-do Crashes at Wildfire Site in Uiseong, Gyeongbuk (Update 2)

At around 12:52 PM on the 26th, a helicopter conducting water bombing crashed near Gyoan-ri, Sinpyeong-myeon, Uiseong, Gyeongbuk.

The crashed helicopter was leased from Inje, Gangwon-do, and it is presumed that one pilot was on board. The survival status of the occupant has not yet been confirmed.

Forestry and fire authorities have dispatched personnel to the scene to investigate the cause of the accident and to confirm the exact scale of human casualties.
