Nadella, MS Chairman, Unveils AI Assistants 'Researcher' and 'Analyst' for the First Time in Korea

Satya Nadella Presents New AI Agents at the 'MS AI Tour' on the 26th

Microsoft (MS) unveiled two AI agents, 'Researcher' and 'Analyst,' applying AI reasoning models for the first time worldwide in Korea. This took place at the 'Microsoft AI Tour in Seoul' event held on the 26th at the aT Center in Yangjae, Seoul.

The newly introduced AI agents apply reasoning models to MS 365 'Copilot,' enabling AI to infer based on complex data and integrate various contexts to support advanced problem-solving capabilities.

'Researcher' integrates OpenAI's o3 reasoning research model with Copilot's combination and deep search functions to perform complex analytical tasks such as new market strategies and customer research for quarterly meetings. 'Analyst' derives key business insights by analyzing distributed diverse data based on the chain reasoning ability of the latest reasoning models, including demand forecasting for new products, consumer purchase pattern analysis, and sales data trend identification.

These AI agents will be sequentially provided starting in April through the 'Frontier' program to MS 365 Copilot license customers.

At the event, Satya Nadella, MS CEO and Chairman of the Board, said, "AI is rapidly transforming daily life and work methods in Korea," adding, "It is truly wonderful to see Korean companies in various industries such as consumer goods, energy, distribution, and telecommunications actively adopting AI to create new growth and opportunities."

Cho Won-woo, President of Microsoft Korea, emphasized, "Korea's international industrial competitiveness and creativity are important foundations for securing a leading position in the AI-centered global business ecosystem," and added, "The cases announced today demonstrate the innovation and achievements brought by AI transformation across industries."
