Democratic Party Supreme Council Meeting Held in Gwanghwamun on the 26th
Lee: "Rebellion is Clear, What Is So Difficult About the Judgment?"
Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party, pressured the Constitutional Court by saying, "If we grant a pardon again to the president who has been indicted and detained on charges of rebellion, it means that a military coup can be carried out at any time," and asked, "Isn't this giving a license for martial law?"

At the Democratic Party's Supreme Council meeting held on the 26th in front of the tent headquarters in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, Lee said, "There are reports that the Constitutional Court's ruling may be postponed until April, but what is so difficult about the judgment?"
Lee said, "(President Yoon Seok-yeol) threatened the people with the power entrusted by the people, with the guns and swords entrusted by the people," and added, "How can anyone dream of a military regime and attempt a military coup in the bright daylight of the Republic of Korea?"
He said, "It is an act that completely destroyed the constitutional order," and questioned, "It is clear that an unconstitutional proclamation was declared, martial law was declared without meeting the conditions, procedures were not followed, the military was brought into the National Assembly, and media companies were persecuted. What more evidence is needed?"
Lee continued, "Who would deny the clear fact that the president, who should protect the constitutional order, destroyed it?" Park Chan-dae, the floor leader, also urged the Constitutional Court to "set the date for the ruling within the day."
Pressure also continued on Han Deok-su, the acting president and prime minister (hereafter Acting Han), who returned to office after the impeachment was dismissed. Lee emphasized, "If the highest authority openly does not abide by the highest norm (the Constitution), who will uphold the Constitution?" and added, "Constitutional Court Justice Ma Eun-hyeok and Supreme Court Justice Ma Yong-ju must be appointed quickly."
Lee said, "Han's return should be understood not as regaining status and power, but as taking on more responsibility and roles," and added, "Fulfilling responsibility is more important."
