Awarded to 417 Scholars
A Total of 66.7 Billion KRW in Support Since 1983
On the 25th, the Lotte Scholarship Foundation held the '2025 First Half Shin Kyuk-ho Lotte Hope Scholarship Award Ceremony' at IBK Corporate Bank Hall, Baekyangnuri, Yonsei University, and announced on the 26th that it awarded scholarships totaling 1.884 billion KRW to 417 Hope Scholars for the first half of this year.

The Hope Scholarship program is the flagship scholarship project of the Lotte Scholarship Foundation, which began in 1983. Students selected as Hope Scholars receive 4 million KRW per semester until graduation.
Jang Hye-seon, Chairperson of the Lotte Scholarship Foundation, said, "I hope each Hope Scholar becomes a seed that changes society," and added, "I hope that the foundation and you, as a family moving forward together to practice the value of virtuous cycles, will continue this ongoing journey."
The Lotte Scholarship Foundation currently selects new scholars from 13 universities (Konkuk University, Kyung Hee University, Korea University, Dongguk University, Sogang University, Seoul National University, University of Seoul, Sungkyunkwan University, Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University, Chung-Ang University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Hanyang University). The total accumulated scholarships awarded to Hope Scholars to date amount to approximately 66.7 billion KRW.
