K-water Emergency Discharge at Andong Dam... "Support Measures for Gyeongbuk Wildfire"

Korea Water Resources Corporation increased the discharge volume of Andong Dam from 20 tons per second to 80 tons per second starting at 8 a.m. on the 25th to prevent the spread of the wildfire in Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk.

This measure was taken to support the fire authorities in securing sufficient firefighting water.

Previously, the Water Resources Corporation also tripled the discharge volume of Seongdeok Dam in Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk, from 1.8 tons per second.
