The completion ceremony was attended by more than 150 guests and residents, including Governor Seo Tae-won, members of the Gapyeong County Council, and Lim Gwang-hyun, a member of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly. They participated in the unveiling event and facility tour, wishing for Gapyeong Ieumteo to become a regional hub going forward.
Governor Seo Tae-won said, “I hope Gapyeong Ieumteo will provide various cultural and welfare services and establish itself as a space for resident communication,” adding, “We will continue to create a happy Gapyeong that residents can feel through culture and welfare.”
Meanwhile, Gapyeong-gun completed the Bukmyeon Ieumteo last year and secured a total of 30 billion KRW, including 21 billion KRW in national funds, through the Rural Agreement public contest project.
