A charred body was found in Cheongsong, Gyeongbuk, where the wildfire damage is increasing.
According to the police on the 25th, around 7 p.m. that day, a 65-year-old person named A was found deceased by a passerby on the outskirts of a road in Cheongsong-eup, Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk.
Police confirmed with the bereaved family that A was evacuating using a private car following the wildfire evacuation order. At the time of discovery, A was outside the car.
The police estimated that A died after being engulfed by the wildfire while evacuating.
