Guri Disabled Sports Association Holds 1st Board Meeting and General Assembly

The Guri City Disabled Sports Association (President Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 25th that it held the first board of directors meeting and general assembly for 2025 on the 21st.

On that day, a total of 41 members of the Disabled Sports Association's board, including the president of the Guri City Disabled Sports Association, attended and engaged in various discussions on efficient management of the Disabled Sports Association, promoting social participation of people with disabilities, and revitalizing sports programs.


The main agenda items were △ Approval of the 2024 business results and settlement (draft) △ Approval of the 2025 business plan and budget (draft) △ Approval of the appointment and dismissal of directors of the Guri City Disabled Sports Association (draft) △ Approval of the revision of the remuneration regulations of the Guri City Disabled Sports Association (draft) △ Approval of the revision of the board meeting fee regulations of the Guri City Disabled Sports Association (draft). All five agenda items were approved as originally proposed.


Baek Kyung-hyun, president of the Guri City Disabled Sports Association, said, "I would like to thank everyone who has made tireless efforts and support for the development of disabled sports in Guri City despite the difficulties over the past year," adding, "In 2025, we will hold a harmonious event where people with and without disabilities can come together and understand each other, and we will carefully oversee not only the field of community sports but also the entire region to ensure Guri City is free from safety accidents."


Currently, Guri City is making efforts to support disabled sports activities by implementing projects such as placing disabled community sports instructors, operating disabled sports classes, and supporting disabled community sports classes, in addition to non-disabled sports.
