On the 25th, Shin Sang-jin, Mayor of Seongnam, attended the ‘New Committee Members Training for District and Neighborhood Community Security Councils’ held at Moran Hall in Seongnam City Hall, where he encouraged the new members and emphasized the role and importance of the council.

Mayor Shin said, “Please keep in mind that your dedicated efforts can change the life of a person in difficulty, and I hope you will join this rewarding work that provides practical help to neighbors.”

He added, “We will do our best to create a warm Seongnam without welfare blind spots through close cooperation between the public and private sectors.”

Meanwhile, this training will be held over three days from the 24th to the 26th, with about 160 new members attending to receive capacity-building education necessary for community security activities.
