The trot musical "Naesarang Oksunssi" is a new work by local writer Lee Jiyoung and composer Yeo Seungyong. It tells the peaceful daily life of the Oksun family, who run a kimbap restaurant in Nam-gu, Daegu, and the story of Oksun, who suffers from dementia. In the final village festival scene, a special appearance by singer Shin Yu is also planned.

Nam-gu District Mayor Cho Jaegu said, "Nam-gu has Daemyeong Performance Street, where about 20 small theaters and rehearsal rooms are concentrated, and we are making great efforts to provide creative opportunities and improve living conditions for young artists. I hope this musical production will invigorate the local cultural and artistic community and provide residents with a valuable cultural experience. I ask for much interest and participation from performing artists and media outlets."
