Seo Youngkyo (Seoul Jungnang-gap) and Kang Sunwoo (Seoul Gangseo-gap), members of the Democratic Party of Korea, visited the campaign office of Lee Jaejong, candidate for Damyang County Governor, on the 25th to show their support.

Representative Seo, known as the "Damyang daughter-in-law," said, "My in-laws are from Gwangju, my husband was born in Damyang, and my mother-in-law has long-standing ties to Damyang, so many people call me the daughter-in-law of Damyang and of Honam. Candidate Lee Jaejong, who was born in Subuk-myeon, Damyang, is the right person to develop Damyang, based on his diverse governmental experience and nationwide network."

She continued, "I will meet each and every Damyang resident, who are at the heart of democracy, and create a wave of overwhelming support for candidate Lee Jaejong. Victory for the Democratic Party in the Damyang County Governor election will hasten the impeachment of insurrection ringleader Yoon Sukyeol and mark the first step toward establishing a new democratic government."

Representative Kang also said, "Candidate Lee Jaejong, who has served as a Blue House administrator and Democratic Party deputy spokesperson, is a close friend with whom I have had a long-standing relationship. Please give this good-natured and capable candidate, who has gained experience and connections in the wider world, a chance to work for his hometown."

Kang added, "Because of insurrection ringleader Yoon Sukyeol, the national system has collapsed and the people's economy is in ruins. For the people to return to their daily lives as soon as possible and for the country to recover from this crisis, candidate Lee must win and the Democratic Party must take over the government."
