The Dangjin Agricultural Technology Center in Chungnam announced on the 25th that it has begun full-scale support for startups by launching the "2025 Agricultural Product Processing Startup Education" program on the 24th.

This program was designed to help 20 aspiring entrepreneurs who wish to start businesses in agricultural product processing develop practical startup skills.

The curriculum covers essential startup courses, including prospects for the agri-food industry, basics and safety management of food processing, licensing procedures for processing startups, and tax management strategies.

In addition, through various hands-on programs such as rice cake making, homemade jam, and dry processing, participants will have the opportunity to make products themselves and acquire processing techniques.

One participant said, "I honestly felt vague anxiety while preparing for an agricultural product processing startup," and added, "Through this program, I gained practical information and became more confident."

Another participant shared, "By participating in the hands-on processing sessions, the product development process became much clearer," and commented, "I think taking part in this program will be an important turning point for my startup."

An official from the city’s Agricultural Technology Center stated, "This program will not just be a learning opportunity, but will be systematically managed so that it leads to actual startups. We will actively support participants with the goal of increasing farmers’ income and creating added value for local agricultural products."

Meanwhile, the Dangjin Agricultural Technology Center plans to provide graduates of this program with the qualification to use the shared kitchen at the Agricultural Product Processing Support Center, offering practical startup opportunities.
