"Musk's 'Nazi salute' is insane"

Vivienne Jenna Wilson, the transgender daughter reportedly estranged from Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, described Musk as a "pathetic and childish man."
In an interview featured in the March special issue cover story of the youth fashion magazine Teen Vogue, released on the 20th (local time), Wilson spoke about Musk's character and behavior, her life as a transgender woman, and her views on the Donald Trump administration. Wilson began gender transition treatment in 2020 at age 16 due to gender dysphoria and legally changed her name that year, obtaining court approval to sever all ties with her biological father by discarding the name "Xavier Musk." The surname "Wilson" she currently uses is her mother's maiden name. She has reportedly been estranged from Musk since 2020 and does not receive financial support from him.
Regarding Musk's controversy over the "Nazi salute," she called it "crazy" and admitted, "I also posted several critical posts about Musk." She added, "I don't want to care about Musk. It’s annoying that people keep associating me with him. He is a pathetic and childish man."

Wilson reflected on her hormone replacement therapy and other treatments since 2020, saying, "I had been suffering from serious mental health issues for several years before that," and "When the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown was imposed, it became unbearable." She emphasized, "Receiving gender transition treatment as a minor was very important," and insisted, "People like me must be able to receive treatment, and malicious attacks against it must be stopped." At that time, Wilson's mother supported her, but Musk was reportedly strongly opposed and showed hostility.
She also criticized the Trump administration, saying, "It is stripping rights not only from transgender people but also from immigrants and other non-white races," and added, "Every time I read the news on my phone, I find myself staring blankly at the wall. They are committing such terrible acts." She further stated, "One of the most serious problems in America is the wealth gap, especially in our generation," and said, "There doesn’t seem to be any good people among the top 1% wealthy who only care about their own gain."
