Gyeongnam Bank, Relocates to Newly Built and Expanded Former Headquarters

Changdong Branch Transformed for Senior Customers

BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 25th that it has newly constructed, expanded, and relocated its Changdong Branch, which was its former headquarters. This branch was established in May 1970 and in October of the same year, the headquarters was moved to the current location of the Changdong Branch.

Preserving its historical value, a historical exhibition space was created within the branch, complemented by the new building and interior design. A customer-centric “counter layout” was established to provide senior customers with financial convenience, digital experiences, and differentiated asset management consultation services, and a dedicated PB was assigned.

Financial education videos for seniors are provided continuously, and a senior-dedicated concierge (lobby manager) is stationed to assist with digital desk usage, enabling customers to handle tasks through video consultations.

A digital zone space was created where customers can handle tasks using digital devices, along with separate spaces for private consultations and loan services.

Shin Jin-wook, head of BNK Gyeongnam Bank’s Changdong Branch, stated, “After about three years of temporary relocation, BNK Gyeongnam Bank’s Changdong Branch has been newly constructed, expanded, and relocated back to its original location. With the interior reflecting the latest trends and ample parking space secured, customer convenience has greatly improved. In particular, we have fully reflected the needs of senior customers to ensure no inconvenience in service. We will do our best to provide differentiated financial services to customers visiting the Changdong Branch.”

Meanwhile, BNK Gyeongnam Bank was established in May 1970 with the purpose of revitalizing the local economy and supporting local businesses with funding. In October of the same year, the headquarters was relocated to the current Changdong Branch location, growing together with the local community.
