Targeting Manufacturing, Wholesale, and Retail Businesses
Up to 300,000 KRW in Support
Iksan City in North Jeolla Province is implementing a "Delivery and Courier Fee Support Program" for local small business owners.
According to the city on the 25th, this support program was established to assist small business owners who are facing management difficulties due to increased fixed costs from delivery apps and online sales, as well as the economic downturn.
The eligible recipients are businesses in manufacturing, wholesale and retail, food service, information and communications, etc., with annual sales of 104 million KRW or less and delivery or courier usage records from 2024 to 2025. Depending on the delivery and courier usage records from January last year to this year, up to 300,000 KRW can be provided.
Applications can be submitted online through the "sosangonginbaedaltaekbaebijiwon.kr" website. Depending on whether the applicant has supporting documents for delivery and courier fees, the support funds will be provided either as "fast payment" or "confirmed payment."
The "fast payment" recipients are small business owners whose delivery and courier fee records are pre-verified through delivery apps and agencies, and they will receive the support funds without submitting additional documents upon application.
For those who deliver directly or use courier or quick services, supporting documents such as usage records must be submitted. After verifying eligibility, the support funds will be distributed sequentially starting next month.
For more details, visit the sosangonginbaedaltaekbaebijiwon website or contact the Iksan Center of the Small Enterprise and Market Service.
A city official said, "We hope that all eligible small business owners will apply for this support program and receive help," adding, "The city will continue to develop various support measures for the stabilization of small business management."
