[Photo] Tree Planting Event Held in Mujung-myeon, Damyang-gun

Mujeong-myeon in Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do held a "tree planting" event on the 24th to commemorate the 80th Arbor Day. Together with the Residents' Autonomy Committee, Volunteer Fire Brigade, and other local residents, they planted 40 Photinia trees along the walking path near Orecheon in Bong-an-ri. Ahn Youngseon, head of Mujeong-myeon, said, "The trees we planted today will become valuable assets for our community as time passes," and added, "I hope this event serves as an opportunity to remind us of the importance of tree planting in response to climate change."
