US Fox News has highly praised the Chinese humanoid robot G1 (hereinafter 'G1'), according to consecutive reports from Chinese media outlets.
Local Chinese media such as Jimu News and Zhonghua Net reported on the 24th that Fox News described G1's kung fu moves as "jaw-dropping."
Fox News cited a video released by the robot company Yushu Technology and described G1 as "a humanoid robot capable of performing kung fu moves with amazing precision and balance."
They continued, "G1's punches, twists, spinning, and kicks are clean and impressive," and praised it by saying, "Its agility would astonish Bruce Lee (Lee So-ryong)."
Fox News also reported that G1 can handle various tasks in environments such as homes, factories, and hospitals. They added, "Seeing it transform from a dancing robot to a kung fu master makes one feel that the humanoid robot field is developing rapidly," and commented, "The combination of sophisticated hardware, advanced AI algorithms, and innovative training techniques has broken through the limits of robots."
G1 is a robot that gained attention after appearing in the CCTV (China Central Television) Spring Festival Gala show. Jimu News explained, "The continuity of G1's movements is comparable to that of human athletes," and stated, "Chinese humanoid robots have been steadily upgraded with groundbreaking technology since the Spring Festival, attracting global attention."
