The city focused on enhancing citizen satisfaction and worked on measures to resolve inconveniences experienced by existing users.

First, to introduce new programs that citizens have continuously requested, the city reduced the free swimming lanes operated during existing lesson hours and established 45 new classes. This made it possible to recruit 1,460 new members.

In addition, by expanding 24 new classes of programs such as 'Power Robic', 'Yoga', 'Senior Dance', and 'Walking', about 450 new members can use these programs.

Furthermore, to support healthy leisure activities for youth, a youth pricing plan was introduced, which is 20-40% cheaper compared to adult rates. This pricing plan applies to programs such as 'Gym Daily Admission' and 'Spinning'.

Moreover, to resolve inconveniences in using parking lots and shower rooms, the city staggered the time slots of programs with concentrated users. The improvements in the sports center program operations will accept new and re-registrations starting in April and will be implemented from May.

Kim Kyung-il, Mayor of Paju City, said, “As Paju City grows into a metropolitan city with a population of 530,000, the demand for sports center use is increasing due to population growth. We will continue to strive to expand public sports facilities and improve services so that citizens can enjoy physical activities in a more comfortable environment.”
