Paju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Kyung-il) announced on the 25th that it disclosed the detailed plan for the 2025 job policy following the Ministry of Employment and Labor's regional employment information and regional job disclosure system promotion on the 21st.

Paju City discloses annual detailed plans for job policies every year to promote employment for the unemployed, provide opportunities for social participation and earned income, and improve the quality of life for its citizens. The disclosed content this time is a detailed plan linked to the comprehensive job policy for the 8th local government term (2023?2026), containing the 2025 job targets and specific implementation plans to achieve them.


This year, Paju City's job targets are an employment rate (ages 15?64) of 69.1% and 277,000 employed persons, with the employment target increased by 3.2% compared to the previous year.


According to the detailed job disclosure, Paju City plans to invest a budget of 106.7 billion KRW to create 15,465 jobs through 159 job projects in five areas: ▲ job creation through corporate support ▲ fostering healthy entrepreneurs ▲ customized job creation ▲ various employment service support ▲ establishment of job infrastructure.


Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju City said, “We will do our best to revitalize local employment through the implementation of demand-centered livelihood stabilization job policies and improve the employment environment through cooperation with related job institutions to create customized jobs suitable for experience, career, and age.”
