Kiturami Boiler, 27 Consecutive Years as No.1 in 'Korea Industry Brand Power'

Acquired 'Disaster Safety Product Certification'
Dual Safety System for Gas Boilers

Gidulami announced on the 25th that Gidulami Boiler was selected as the number one brand in the home boiler sector for 27 consecutive years in the ‘2025 Korea Industry Brand Power (K-BPI)’ released by Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).

Korea Industry Brand Power is a brand diagnosis evaluation system first announced domestically in 1999. Among 234 industry groups representing consumer life in Korea, about 3,900 brands have been evaluated, and only 16 brands, including Gidulami Boiler, have maintained the number one position for 27 consecutive years.

Gidulami Boiler received the highest rating among home boilers with a K-BPI overall score of 599.0 points. In particular, it received the most consumer selections in the ‘Top-of-Mind Awareness’ category, which asks “the brand that first comes to mind when thinking of home boilers.”

Gidulami is introducing innovative products with high energy efficiency such as eco-friendly boilers, 3rd generation carbon mats, and carbon boards to consumers in response to market conditions like the climate crisis and soaring energy prices. Along with improving the performance and convenience of products such as home boilers, special efforts have been made to establish safety technologies.

Last year, Gidulami’s major gas boiler product lines received the ‘Disaster Safety Product Certification’ from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. This is due to the application of a dual safety system consisting of earthquake detectors and gas leak detectors to gas boilers since the mid to late 1990s. The dual safety system, which began to receive attention after detecting the Gyeongju earthquake in 2016 and the Pohang earthquake in 2017, is a technology that preemptively detects natural disasters and safety accidents to stop boiler operation.

This year, Gidulami is strengthening customer benefits and services to expand the distribution of eco-friendly boilers that protect air quality and reduce energy costs. In January, it signed a ‘Strategic Business Agreement (MOU)’ with Hyundai Rental Care for rental services and product development. Once the rental service is implemented, Gidulami plans to offer its self-produced products, including home eco-friendly boilers, at reasonable prices without the initial purchase cost burden by utilizing Hyundai Rental Care’s online and offline service networks.

A Gidulami Boiler official said, “The sincerity devoted to improving the performance and safety of home boilers so that the modern ‘K-Ondol heating’ can take root in Korean homes is the secret to being recognized as the nation’s boiler brand for half a century,” adding, “We will continue technological and service innovations that can lead the development of heating culture and repay the support of customers who have consistently supported us for 27 years.”
