YouTuber Alleges "Photo Manipulation" and Accuses Him of Forging Official Documents
Lee Seunghwan Says, "I Visited the Police Station, but No Accusation Has Been Filed"

Singer Lee Seunghwan, who was reportedly accused by the hardline supporters of President Yoon Seok-yeol, stated, "There is no case of accusation." On the 24th, Lee Seunghwan posted a photo taken at the Gangdong Police Station in Seoul on his social media (SNS) and said, "Since I had not been contacted about any accusation, I went to the Gangdong Police Station near my company to inquire about the schedule because I wanted to be investigated quickly," adding, "But they told me there is not a single accusation filed under my name."

Lee Seunghwan said, "I told the police, 'It seems those people wrote the wrong resident registration number,' but they said there is nothing under my name at all," and added, "Ah, really, are the pro-internal rebellion far-right people going to handle things like this? They said my trip to the U.S. and my immigration documents were all lies, yet why are their own lies so diverse and lenient? File the accusation quickly within today. I’m really upset."

Earlier, Lee Seunghwan posted a photo taken in the U.S. during his nephew’s wedding last month, stating, "I was not denied entry by the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency)," and disclosed his U.S. immigration documents. Some supporters of President Yoon, dissatisfied with Lee Seunghwan’s stance supporting impeachment, had been repeatedly reporting him to the U.S. and other places, but he clarified that there was no problem with his entry.

Regarding this, a YouTuber claimed, "The nephew is not in the wedding photo posted by Lee Seunghwan. Looking at the photo, the lighting and shadows are too unnatural. It’s obvious that it’s a composite." This claim spread among far-right netizens, and it was reported that Lee Seunghwan committed crimes such as forging or altering official documents related to his U.S. travel records, leading to accusations being filed.

Afterwards, Lee Seunghwan posted a photo of the accusation document on SNS, responding with "Accusations are very welcome!" However, according to Lee Seunghwan’s statement on that day, it appears that no accusation has actually been filed with the police.
