Final Report Meeting Held for VR Immersive Content Promotional Video Production Project
Geochang County, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 25th that it held the final report meeting for the 'Geochang County VR Immersive Content Promotional Video Production Project' at the county office's main conference room, with 22 participants including County Governor Koo Inmo, senior officials, and service providers.
The project began in April last year and produced videos for virtual reality (hereinafter referred to as VR) and general viewing, covering all aspects of county administration such as the four seasons of Geochang, tourism, education, industry, and welfare.
Through the project, the county produced two 360-degree VR videos, three general 2D videos, and three TV spot advertisements. Under the theme 'Geochang, Where Nature and People Meet,' the videos feature content on the city of education, elevator city, eco-friendly city, forest tourism (9 scenic spots), future agriculture city (food), city of culture, arts, and sports, and welfare and transportation infrastructure.
In particular, the 360-degree VR videos showcase all of Geochang County's major tourist attractions, allowing viewers to experience a virtual tour of Geochang even without visiting in person.
The videos produced through the project will be used for internal and external county administration promotions, and VR promotional booths will be set up during various festivals and events to present them to residents and tourists. In addition, the 360-degree VR and general 2D videos will be produced in four languages?Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and English?for global promotion and use on platforms such as YouTube.
Governor Koo Inmo said, "This is the first time our county has attempted a VR promotional video, and I believe it effectively captures the overall aspects of county administration. We will strive to promote Geochang's vibrancy to residents and outsiders alike by utilizing these videos."
